Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files websites use to remember things about your visit. We use the minimum number necessary to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. You can disable them in your browser — the site will still function, just slightly less conveniently.
Cookies we use
- Essential cookies. Keep tool wizards remembered if you leave mid-flow and come back. Local storage, not sent to our servers. Can't be disabled without breaking wizards.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics). Anonymous. Tell us which pages are useful and which aren't. No personal identifiers. IP anonymization on.
- Clarity / heatmap cookies (if enabled). Anonymous session-level heatmaps — used to debug UX issues only. Not always active.
We don't use: advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, retargeting, or cross-site trackers.
How to disable cookies
Every browser handles this differently. Search "[your browser] disable cookies" for a walkthrough. Or, if you just want to avoid analytics, install a tracker-blocker like uBlock Origin — it blocks GA across every site you visit.
If you disable cookies, the tool wizards won't remember your progress between sessions. Everything else works normally.
Cookie consent
For visitors in the EU/UK, we show a cookie banner on first visit allowing you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Essential cookies are always on, since the site can't function without them. Your choice is stored in localStorage.
